Community Information Volunteers
Overview
The purpose of the CIV Program is to help develop a future where both individuals and communities can reap the benefits of personal commitment and free will. This will enable the Volunteers gain practical experience, to improve their employability, be socially integrated by participating in community-based projects in the rural areas.
The CIV internship programme provides opportunities for learning, interacting and exposure. Its objective is to develop and enhance young people’s skills in leadership, programme management, report writing and analysis, research and documentation, information management, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), and resource centre management.
Prior to the end of the Internship program, ALIN will publicize the availability of the interns, highlighting their strengths among potential organisations or employers.
